I remember when we took grandma on a road trip to Massachusetts and took both her and Aunt Velma to have their first pedicures done at a nail salon, then for Thai food after - that was an experience. I'm sure she would have preferred her tuna sub from Wegmans instead :) Grandma was present and in attendance at family events whenever possible - so we have so much to remember her by. She did so much to stay connected with everyone, getting on social media, apps, zoom calls, etc. I will miss talking to her and her quick-witted responses that were so reassuring for me, that she was still here with us.
I remember when Grandma told me she never liked the name June. I told her it was a beautiful name. We always talked about my animals even though she couldn't stand animals. The family dog would meet her at the bus stop after work. She couldn't stand it.
I remember Auntie June always had encouraging words to share with me that guided me through many different audiences on my journey.
I remember when June was always so kind to me and her gentle spirit was always so calming, reassuring and pure. She will be missed.
I remember when June would always host me, my mother and grandmother during our trips to buffalo. We had so many fun times connecting with family and exploring Buffalo.
I remember when you were so kind to let my mother's husband out by letting him stay there and you taking care of him I love you gg.
