Even though you are gone,
My love for you goes on.
I wish I could go back in time.
Stop everything and rewind.
I look forward with hope.
The resurrection gives me a way to cope.
I thank God, that gives us everlasting love,
That he gave us you.
Because where would any of us be?
Without the Matriarch of our family.
